Must have map for overview planning of time in Hong Kong. Every city or region we travel to, I look for a quality map to plan out our accommodations, tours, and what attractions or sights are in each neighborhood. This map achieves all those goals, easy to write on (note it's not laminated), mass transit routes clearly labeled, popular attractions and useful information for air, ferry and vehicular travels. I enjoy the free maps most guides include with their books, but often find them difficult to write on or find key locations. This map solves 90% of those issues, but be forewarned it's also much larger than those guidebook maps. I may not carry this with me into public (screams lost tourist) but for overview planning before the trip and while at the hotel, this is a must for any travel binder.

Do bother wasting money on this map. I think for most tourist planning to visit Hong Kong, this map would be useless because it does not provide enough details or the street names for most of the streets. This map tries to show the whole Hong Kong and therefore cannot show the details that you need. The most helpful map I found was the free map got from the concierge at the hotel.

The map is 11 inches longdifficult to fit in your pocket unless you fold itAlso this is more of a 'beginner's' map for people who have no idea of the cityI do not know what edition this is but the subway map is not up to dateThere are 2 new stations added last year that is not on the map

The map is big, but has very few street names. The map is good for a general view of the area, and it identifies many tourist attractions too. Very useful map.

Can't tell you just how disappointed I am with this book. So many things wrong with it. To begin with, the 'recipes' for marinades read like a list of ingredients a 7 year old would come up with if left loose in the kitchen. There is no writing in this book, it is merely page after page after boring page of marinade recipes. I'd like to see some intro to each or idk ... something that didn't make it seem like pages of grandma's (or toddler) marinades hastily strung together to form what is passing as a book. At the end of the day, the absolute worst flaw is the fact that the contents page will tell you that such-and-such recipe is found on page 67, or 42, or whatever only to discover at that point that the damned pages aren't actually numbered. I mean, really?!?!?! You can't even take the time to make sure the page numbers show up on the pages after being too lazy to write actual content? Do not, and I repeat this, do NOT purchase this publication. It is a total waste of time and money and you would do just as well, if not better, grabbing random ingredients from your kitchen and using them.

RZA gives us a little bit of the Wu history, much of his own personal history, and plenty of deep, religious, life lessons that reveal even more about who he is. I couldn't put the Tao down, as it is written well and gave me much to think about in my own life. The Tao of Wu is probably one of the best books that I have found to explain the logic of the Kingdom of Gods and Earths aka The 5% nation, and made my skepticism subside since I was once a cynic due to so many acts out of New York being about it. Who knew that RZA had so much going on? And who knew that he was so close to the members of the Wu prior to them dropping 36 Chambers and changing the Hip Hop landscape. So much of this was written from the heart that I felt like the man was next to me telling me the stories. I would highly recommend this book to fans of Wutang, or anyone interested in theology from an unbiased place. It is a book I intend to reread the next time that I find myself in a negative place.

This is an exceptional read. Buy this book with an open mind/heart and you'll come away with more tools for your 'life toolbox"; guaranteed. I have been an avid fan of the RZA and his compadres in the Wu Tang Clan for about fifteen years and he has never ceased to impress me both with his creativity and unique insight, an insight he has gained by living through hard years and a vision he has possessed since his early days. This book is a spoken version of his raps throughout his career. For those who are not huge rap fans and have a bit of a hard time with the intensity that comes across on Wu Tang albums this book serves as a comparable alternative. It reads in a way that makes you imagine you are sitting in a coffee shop with the RZA and asking him what makes up the essence of his being, as well as what inspired him and his peeps to create the awesome material that they have been putting on vinyl for almost two decades. He comes across as a very accessible, modest and friendly personalty and has the ability to relate on a very basic human level. Rza put an extreme amount of useful insight about his life and personal experiences into this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the segment where he spoke about his experiences in New York, the time he fooled people with a paper bag and M.C.ed a party and how that whole incident went sideways. There is so much I'd like to mention but then I'd spoil the whole thing for others. He's plain spoken and articulate simultaneously. Excellent book I definitely think you owe it to yourself to read.

Just read this. It is what it is. Yes, it's smart, but don't compare it to other bio books. No, it won't change your life. Sure, RZA is badass, and if you feel inclined to look into reading it, you will like it. If you are a huge fan, buy it. If not- get it from the library.

This is a gem found deep in the caverns...I have to admit that I'm surprised at the knowledge and wisdom that emanates from the RZA. I read this book in a very casual manner for a light read. By the time I reached the quarter point of the book, I found more enjoyment by reading a couple of pages at a time because I enjoyed the depth of his insights and stories.The read is short and simple, but RZA provides sharp reminders of inspiration, solid nuggets of information, and a vast knowledge of how loose partnerships may develop powerful alliances and empower visions. Anytime I say ahhhh... I like the book. There was a few ahhh moments especially on long term care. Then there is my hmmm moments which make me question motives. This moment was when I read that you need an expert to decide for me. Well I read, attend seminars and invest a lot of time to be my own expert. So for me that's saying you need to hire someone which for many of us with moderate wealth is a little questionable since each individual determines the efforts they put into understanding the retirement planning process. Overall a great deal of info and great examples. And if you need a insurance salesmen, well get one.

With over 30 yrs of financial advisor experience, this is the FIRST time I have ever seen anything written with such clarity for the normal, everyday person. Planning for retirement and living it successfully takes understanding of the issues covered by this John. He even provides sample forms via Appendix A-H as exclamations for you to peruse...........Clearly an easy read and thought-provoking source for any one anticipating retirement.

The truth is 5 stars is not enough for the value of this book.Meeting Mr.Scheilcame at a time when I seriously needed to address my long term health care andretirement as, well as my husbands.This book is filled with so much information,it is easyto read and unbelievably accurate. Although the author maybe faulted for a little business self-promotion this slim book delves into many retirement issues and self-made traps. After reading the book front to back I came away with a much greater appreciation for many retirement decisions that I will be facing sooner or later. Hans Scheil comes across as utterly sincere in his desire to help his clients and very knowledgeable. I was so impressed with the book that I've driven to Cary, NC twice to meet with Mr. Scheil and his team to discuss my retirement. (3 hours each way).

I found this book to be one of the most complete, informative and easy to understand guides to planning for retirement. I am a Certified Senior Adviser and have recommend this book to many of my clients. It answer the questions you didn't even know you had. A must read for those approaching retirement and for those who like to be a step ahead...the early planners.

I read this book every so often to my kids' martial arts classes. The book helps me teach the lesson that hard work pays off in the end.

A wonderful artist who was a perfectionist in all his pursuits. I think having a selection of his work is perfect for us.

I sought this book out because I was looking for a book with a Chinese New Year's story. Yes, Crouching Tiger is a Chinese New Year's themed book with elements I didn't find in other books (like that in Chinatown New Year parades, there is a "cabbage boy" who holds a head of cabbage on a bamboo pole in front of the dragon in the parade) as well as the more traditional elements (the cleaning, a new haircut, traditional foods, etc.), while also engaging readers with Chinese martial arts (each page shows a different Tai Chi position) and beautiful illustrations. But, more than that, it's a book about a young boy learning that he is "Chinese as well as American," a very important lesson taught to him by a loving and faithful grandfather. I like this book because it addresses respect, culture, patience, understanding and generational thoughts in a simple and informative way for children. Nice illustrations, too.

Ming Da's grandfather comes to visit from China, and teaches him tai chi, then celebrates Chinese New Year with him. Ink and watercolor full-page illustrations, with drawings of tai chi moves. Might interest young boys who are Chinese, or those who are into martial arts. Ages 6-8.
